What started as a small, one-bay shop has grown into the region's most trusted name for honest, high-quality auto repair. Meet Gene Edmondson, Owner
Gene’s Texas roots run deep. Originally from Abilene, he graduated from Abilene High School, studied at Texas A&M, and eventually made his way to Georgetown, where he has been a proud member of the community since 2000. With more than 30 years in the automotive industry, he has owned Gene’s Auto since 2018, leading the shop with experience, heart, and a true commitment to doing right by people.
An Army Veteran and active member of the Georgetown Beard Club, Gene brings hometown pride and community spirit to everything he does. In September 2025, he married his wife, Dina Edmondson, adding another meaningful chapter to his life and deepening his roots in the community he loves.

Jason Jordan, Manager
With more than three decades in the automotive industry, Jason leads Gene’s Auto with a steady hand and a genuine care for people. His attention to detail and natural ability to keep operations running seamlessly make him an invaluable part of our team. He has extensive experience overseeing fleet and service departments, bringing both organization and heart to everything he does.
Sam Wolbrueck, Service Advisor
With more than a decade of automotive experience, Sam is a dependable Service Advisor who takes pride in providing quality service and helping customers feel confident about their vehicles. He’s a devoted husband and proud dad to two great sons. Sam is an assistant pastor at a church in his community.

Technician
With experience dating back to 1976, Richard is one of the most seasoned automotive technicians in the industry. A proud U.S. Army veteran, he spent five years in Germany developing specialized expertise in Volkswagen, Porsche, and Audi vehicles. Richard brings a remarkable depth of knowledge, skill, and dedication to every vehicle he services.

Technician
Brady Harrison brings more than 20 years of hands-on automotive experience to Gene’s Auto Repair. Before joining our team, he spent eight years working at Chevrolet dealerships, developing extensive expertise and a reputation for dependable, high-quality workmanship.

ASE Certified Master Technician
Mike has been in the automotive industry since 2009, bringing more than 15 years of hands‑on experience to our team. As a Master ASE‑Certified Technician, he is highly skilled in servicing both domestic and import vehicles and is committed to getting every job done right.
King Finley
Technician
King Finley brings more than a decade of automotive experience to his role as a technician at Gene’s Auto Repair. Known for his attention to detail, strong work ethic, and upbeat personality, King takes pride in providing dependable, high-quality repairs. He also proudly served eight years in the U.S. Army.

Oil ChangeTechnician
Dontay is the newest addition to Gene’s Auto Repair, joining us as an Oil Change Technician. He performs oil changes and routine maintenance services, carefully checking each vehicle to help keep it running smoothly. With over 2 years of experience, Dontay is eager to grow his automotive knowledge and build a strong future in the industry.
